Neemastra

INTRODUCTION

Neemastra is a organic pesticide. It is made of cow dung, cow urine, neem leaf and water. It is used to control sucking insects, pest, mealy bugs and caterpillar. 

Material requirements 

  • Cow dung 10 kg
  • Cow urine 10 liter 
  • Neem leaf 5 kg
  • Plastic drum 
  • Wooden stick 
  • Mesh cloth
  • Water

Procedure for preparation

  • Firstly, we take 200 liter capacity of plastic drum.
  • Add 100 liter water in 200 liter plastic drum.
  • Add 10 kg cow dung.
  • Add 10 liter cow urine.
  • Add 5 kg crusted neem leaf.
  • Mix it well with the help of stick and keep it in a shady place.
  • This mixture is ready in 48 hours, which is stirred 4 time with a stick in 48 hours.

Precautions

  • Choose a shady place to make it.
  • Crash the neem leaf properly.
  • Use only cow dung keep in a shade.
  • Do not keep cow dung in metallic container.
  • Allow this solution to ferment for 48 hours.
  • Do not store for longer time.

  • Effective in the management of sucking insects and mealy bugs.
  • Also use to control of small worms and caterpillars.
